In this video we’re snowboarding on a sunny powder day at Mt Bachelor and give you tips on how to do big powder slashes on your snowboard. The first key for big powder slashes is to snowboard into an open area of powder with some speed. The second tip is to quickly twist your snowboard sideways to get the snow spraying into the air. Once your get the spray going untwist and point your snowboard straight again. Finally make sure you keep on your back foot while doing powder slashes. This is key for keeping the nose of your snowboard up in the air and will prevent you from tomahawking forward into the snow. Be safe out there snowboarding and have fun working on the powder slash!
